Abstract

This static mixer does not block up when handling small throughputs of highly viscous liquids or self-hardening mixtures. It comprises a mixer block with a single prim. inlet branching to multiple prim. outlets and a single sec. inlet branching to multiple sec. outlets. prim. and sec. liquids enter the block, follow the branch channels and are kept quite separate from each other until outlet streams are intermingled. Several prim. outlets may be arranged around each sec. outlet. The mixer has no moving parts, is highly efficient, compact and easy to clean, and has a low pressure drop through the block.
