Abstract
Title material consists of an electrically conducting support material, and a photoconducting double layer consisting of a homogeneous charge supporting dye layer and a transparent cover layer which consists of a mixt. of (I) a charge transporting monomeric heterocyclic cpd. with >=1 dialkylamino gp. or two alkoxy gps, and an extended psi-electron system, or a condensate of 3-bromopyrene and formaldehyde, and (II) a resin binder. Cpd (I) is an oxa(di)azole e.g. 2,5-bis-(4-diethylaminophenyl)-oxadiazole-(1,3,4). Binder (II) is a silicone resin, reactive resin derived from a polyether and polyisocyanate, carbonate resin etc. The transparent cover layer also contains sensitisers and substances forming charge transfer complexes. The dye is "Indanthrene blude", "Decacyclene", "Cibanone yellow GC", etc.
