Abstract

The inner feed guide is a polygonal convex surface with 12-18 flat surfaces to support the fabric while a light radial tension is applied by the radial strips in the form of a belt which exerts inwards and upwards pressure. The purpose is to draw the knitted fabric out of the circular knitting machine with equal tension applied over the whole fabric, and without damaging or marking the material in removal.
