Herbicidal cpds. have formula (I) (X = 1-4C alkyl, 1-3C alkoxy, or halo). The cpds. are highly selective against barnyard grass, chickweed, common purslane, common sow thistle, green foxtail, large crab grass and smooth pigweed in wheat, barley and cotton fields.
