Abstract

The new cpds. are of formula:- in which X is piperidino opt. substd. by one or two lower alkyl grps. (pref. CH3). They have hypoglycaemic activity, and are prepared by reacting N- 4- beta- (5-methyl-pyrazino-2-carboxamido)ethyl benzenesulphonyl methylurethane with an opt. substd. 1-amino-piperidine.
