Abstract
The output of an electrolyte cell producing chlorine, hypochlorite and lower acids from sodium chloride soln. is controlled by means of change in electrolytes concentration keeping the applied voltage to the cell constant. Sodium chloride is completely decomposed. The produced soln. is used for dosing towns water for drinking, bathing and also for dosing process water and effluent.
