Abstract

Tablets contg. at least two active ingredients are prepd. by conventionally tabletting the first ingredient and then embedding this tablet in a matrix of the second ingredient so that one one side of the final tablet the first ingredient is seen as an interior zone surrounded by the second ingredient, whilst on the other side of the tablet only the second ingredient can be seen. By choosing distinctive colours and shapes an easily recognisable pattern is produced which lessens the risk of confusing one type of tablet with another.
