Abstract

Plastisol for joints comprises a vinyl resin, pref. PVC and 30-180 wt. parts diisodecylphthalate. per 100 parts by wt of vinyl resin. The plastisol, useful for sealing casks in the necks of containers for food, drinks etc. has a cellular nature and pref. contains as a blowing agent azodicarbonamide. The plastisol is non-volatile even at the fusion temp between 160 and 218 degrees C.
