Abstract

Lightweight, heat resistant constructional elements are made using an aqs. suspension comprising hydrated lime, anhydrite and foamed plaster mixed with these or other inorganic binders. The solids content of the suspension is >=30%. The quantity of water required is reduced, giving a shorter setting time and improved pore distribution and structure. The process can be carried out continuously.
