Abstract

Reinforcement consists of two metal longitudinal bands of variable separation integral with the ski. Separation may be effected by bosses in each band directed towards the other. They may be soldered to the bands and may include perforations through which plastic material may flow. The bands may be provided with staples of the same material as the ski for positioning them in the mould. The assembly forms a very strong moulded ski.
