Abstract

A flat piece of plastic material so shaped that it can be fitted to the baby has in one part of it two pockets with their open ends facing each other into which the ends of the absorbent pad can be slipped and so positioned that when applied the pockets are between the baby's thighs. The pockets are formed by folding over integral flaps cut at the same time as the body of the holder and fixed by plastic welding, gaps being left in the welds to allow the pockets to drain.
