Abstract

Foodstuff for young animals which is cheap and storable and can replace natural milk or conventional dried milk comprises a defatted fish protein having a particle size 420 mu in quantity up to 55 wt.%, pref. 15-25 wt.% of total wt. of foodstuff, the remainder comprising animal fat, lactose (pref. in the form of whey), glucose, vitamins and mineral salts. Pref. the protein contains is not >0.1% of fat.
