Abstract
Moulded articles made from flexible polyurethan foam. These moulded articles are made without heat being required for hardening. Prepn. comprises introducing into a mould, a foamable mixture prepd. from (a) an amino polyether polyol of equiv. wt. 500-2000, (pref. 1000-2000) obtained by reacting propylene oxide and ethylene oxide with a primary or secondary polyamine or with an alkanolamine. The polyether polyol, which contains 3-30 wt. % of units derived from ethylene oxide, is reacted with (b) a mixture of crude toluene diisocyanate and crude diphenylmethane diisocyanate and/or polymethylenepolyphenyl isocyanate (P.A.P.I.), the polyisocyanate mixt. contg. 10-70 wt. % toluene diisocyanate.
