Abstract

The pile warp beam is driven intermittently in accordance with the position of a rotating device which has a pendulum motion, the features of which are that a fixed yarn deflector or guide is situated outside the warp roll and that a yarn deflector or guide having a pendulum motion, arranged downstream from the fixed guide, reckoned in the direction of displacement of the warp, and subjected to a force opposing the tension in the warp yarns arising from the point of weaving, acts on the warp yarns and cooperates with a device controlling the intermittent drive of the warp beam.
