Abstract

Hydrocarbon conversion catalyst consists of a crystalline stratified aluminosilicate of the clay type, and at least one hydrogenation component selected from group (VIII) metals and their compounds. Specifically: the hydrogenation component is pref. nickel or one of its salts. The catalyst pref. also contains tin or one of its compounds.
