Abstract

The representation system is used for a number of stepping transformers connected in parallel to several collector rails, with respective voltage regulators. The concrete configuration data, e.g. the number of transformers and the number of collector rails, is held in a read-only memory with a microprocessor calculating all possible combinations of the transformer power switches and collector rail connections, to determine the corresponding circuit paths, represented by respective display elements. Only the display elements corresponding to the actual current path are activated, to provide the representation of the layout configuration on the monitor field. Pref. the display elements are provided by LED's.
