Abstract

The invention relates to a process and a device for spraying various materials, where the material to be sprayed is passed into a flame generated with the aid of fuel gas, which makes it possible to spray the particles of the spray material onto any object. The spray material is passed into the flame in the liquid form and is converted into the droplet form with the aid of the said gas, essentially in the region of the flame. This gives a rapid, advantageous and single-stage method for producing very small particles, which are of the order of magnitude of nanometres. <IMAGE>
