Abstract

The invention relates to a circuit for receiving information carried by a two-wire power line and having a frequency which is orders of magnitude higher than the frequency of the low-frequency AC voltage on the power line. The AC voltage on the power line, which interferes with information transmission, is eliminated by coupling the evaluation circuit via a high-resistance resistor bridge into which either a compensation voltage of the same frequency but in antiphase is injected or which bridge is changed in its balance in a frequency-dependent manner by a capacitor. <IMAGE>
