Abstract

The invention relates to a sliding panel arrangement, in particular a glass panel arrangement. This arrangement comprises an upper and a lower fixing rail 1, 2, a plate- shaped wall part, such as a glass panel 3, two support members 4, 5 which are provided with rollers 8, 9, 10 or corresponding sliding members and which are fixed to the upper edge of the glass panel 3 and fitted in the upper fixing rail in order to support the panel part, and a follower member 6 which is fixed to the lower edge of the glass panel 3 and fitted in the lower fixing rail 2 in order to keep the glass panel coupled to the lower fixing rail. According to the invention, the first support member 4 comprises a support 11, to which the rollers 8, 9 are fixed, and a fixing pin 12 which is fixed to the glass panel 3; the second support member 5 comprises the roller 10 and a support arm 14, which roller is, by means of the support arm 14, fixed to the glass panel 3, and which sliding member is adapted to run in the laterally directed angle bracket 17 of the upper slide rail 1 when the glass panel 3 is in the direction of the fixing rails 1, 2; and the follower member 6 comprises a sliding member 18 and a fixing pin 20, which sliding member is arranged movably in association with the lower fixing rail 2, and the fixing pin is fixed to the glass panel 3. The fixing pin 20 of the first support member and the fixing pin 20 of the follower member are arranged on essentially the same vertical line F-F. In the sliding panel arrangement, the sliding member 10 of the second support member 5 of the glass panel 3 can be displaced out of the angle bracket 17 of the upper fixing rail, the glass panel 3 being pivotable, supported on the fixing pin 12 of the support member 4 and the fixing pin 20 of the first follower member 18. <IMAGE>
