Abstract

A linear transmission-unit for generating a limited linear movement of a driven power transmission element (13) has an elongated housing in the form of a profiled tube (2) of stable shape which is provided with a continuous longitudinal slot (9) and is longitudinally guided on the power transmission element. The arrangement is in this case designed such that the power transmission element is supported and guided on the housing (1) in the region of the two longitudinally running housing walls (11) which bound the longitudinal slot and are located opposite one another, by means of linear roller bearings (16, 17, 24). <IMAGE>
