Claims (9)

1. Vinylacetatpolymerlatexer best&ende av polymerpartiklar med den genomsnittliga diametern 0,05-1 yum och glastempera-turen mellan -20 och +50°C, med partikelkoncentrationen 10-70 vikt-%, kännetecknadeav att de innehäller skydds-kolloid bestiende av a) en vattenlöslig N-metylolakrylamid-eller N-metylolmetakrylamidpolymer eller en kopolymer av dessa och akrylamid och b) en etylenglykolpolymer med molekylvikten mellan 1 000 och 50 000, som Mr vattenlöslig.
2. Latexer enligt patentkravet 1, kMnnetecknade av att vid en viss koncentration deras vid surt pH-värde liiga viskositet stiger vid alkaliskt pH-värde och förblir sedan densamma oberoende av pH och att de ger polymerfilmer, som Mr okänsliga för vatten.
3. Latex enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, känneteck- n a d av att den räknat ρδ polymeren innehäller 0,1-5 % skydds-kolloid bestMende av 15-70 vikt-% N-metylolakrylamid- eller N-metylolmetakrylamidpolymer och 30-85 vikt-% etylenglykolpolymer.
4. Förfarande för framställning av vinylacetatpolymerlatexer enligt patentkravet 1 genom att i vattenemulsion polymerisera vinylacetat ensamt eller tillsammans med ätminstone en kopoly-meriserbar monomer i nSrvaro av initiator och skyddskolloid, kännetecknat av att skyddskolloiden bestMr av a) en vattenlöslig N-metylolakrylamid- eller N-metylolmetakrylamidpolymer eller en kopolymer av dessa och akrylamid, och b) en etylenglykolpolymer med molekylvikten mellan 1 000 och 50 000, som är vattenlöslig.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 4, kännetecknat av att den med vinylacetat kopolymeriserbara monomeren Mr en vinylester tili mättade, förgrenade (C1 -C^ ) -monokarboxylsyror och/eller en (C^-C^Q)-alkylester tili omättade (C3~Cg)-monokarboxylsyror och att den används i sidana mängder, att den erhällna polymerens glastemperatur är mellan -20 och 50°C.
