A nonwoven fabric comprising a plurality of textile fibers, wherein said plurality of fibers comprise fibers selected from two groups of fibers; - a first group of fibers (F) comprising a plurality of fibers having a first average length (A1), and - a second group of fibers (X) comprising a plurality of fibers having a second average length (A2), whereby said first average length (A1) is shorter than said second average length (A2), whereby the fibers of said fabric are oriented primarily in the same direction, characterized by the fact that the first length variation (V1) of the fibers of the first group of fibers (F) is greater than the second length variation of the fibers of the second group of fibers (X) ( V2) and that the said average length (A2) of the fibers of said second group of fibers (X) is more than 30 mm. 2.
