Claims (6)

1. Förfarande för framställning av nickel ur ett mckelsulfidkoncentrat, känne-tecknat av att koncentratet i form av slam urlakas i en eller flera behällare genom att behandla koncentratet med en ferrisulfatlösning, lösningen av nickelsulfat och 5 jämsulfat som fatts genom urlakning separeras som en fast och flytande komponent, den fasta komponenten behandlas i en biologisk oxideringsprocess med användning av en eller flera av Thiobacillus ferrooxidans, Thiobacillus thiooxidans och Leptos-pirillum ferrooxidans, den erhällna produkten separeras som en fast och flytande komponent och den flytande komponenten sätts i beröring med ett färskt koncentrat, 10 de flytande komponentema behandlas med en lösningsextraktions- eller jonbytesre-agens som är mer selektiv beträffande nickel än ferrojäm, varvid nickel separeras frän jäm, och det överförs i koncentrerad form till eluatlösningen och eluatlösning-• en behandlas i en elektrolytisk berikningsprocess för att producera femmickel.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat av att Thiobacillus ferrooxidans 15 uppstär ur stammen TF-FC-1.
