Abstract

The invention concerns a method for rearing marine organisms, in which method one or more rearing bags 1 are held submerged in water 2. Falling waste particles 14 are collected from the bags 1 by arranging a number of collection vessels 10 close to each other. The collection vessels 10 are connected by tube devices 7, 8, 15 which form part of the frame structure and which at the same time are used as suction tubes for the waste 14. The invention also concerns an arrangement for rearing marine organisms. Arranged under the rearing space 1, there are collection devices 10 which are open at the top and comprise at least three separate and essentially funnel- shaped collection vessels 10 made of a solid material. Struts 7, 8, 15 are arranged as connection devices between each collection vessel 10 and a pontoon structure 19, and some of the struts 8, 15 are designed as suction tubes for removal of waste 14. <IMAGE>
