Abstract
The invention relates to a process for burning a liquid or solid powdery fuel by means of a burner. In this connection, the fuel is pulverised by means of a fluid and burned together with an oxygen- containing gas. In order in a simple manner to be able to burn a liquid or solid powdered fuel with as little noise development as possible, it is proposed to pulverise the fuel outside the nozzle by means of oxygen.
