Abstract

An industrial robot which carries on an arm a tool to perform certain work deposits this tool when the work has been completed and detaches it from the arm, complete with all supply lines which remain joined to the tool. The robot picks up another tool, complete with its supply lines and performs the next operation scheduled for this tool.
