Abstract

A pump of the axial piston type comprises a plurality of pistons (3) arranged according to a circle and which may be inserted against the action of springs into cylinders (2) by means of an oscillating member (4) carried by a driving shaft (5) parallel to the piston axes. The oscillating member (4) has the shape of a ring (10) rotating about a sharp angle with respect to the driving shaft (5). The driving shaft (5) protrudes axially outside the ring (10) on the side opposite to the side of the driving motor (6) and is supported by a support (1) which also encloses the cylinders (2).
