SE OBTIENE EL COMPUESTO (II) EN QUE R ES UN GRUPO ALCOHILO CON 1 A 22 ATOMOS DE CARBONO Y EN CUYO EXTREMO TERMINAL HAY UN GRUPO HIDROXILO QUE PUEDE ESTAR PROTEGIDO. LA REACCION SE LLEVA A CABO EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE ORGANICO Y A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 50 A 150 C. EL PEROXIDO SE PONE EN CONTACTO CON 2,3-DIMETOXI-5-METIL-1,4-BENZOQUINONA.
