Abstract

1. Strike grenade of a cylindrical type, particularly a tear gas grenade, which comprises at least two blocks (15, 16), with a central channel, of an active pyrotechnic composition, capable of being ignited by means of at least one igniting composition (17) arranged on at least one of the ends of these blocks, and the blocks being housed in an outer casing (1) which can be opened by the pressure of the combustion gases, and grenade which can be equipped with an axial igniter stopper fixed onto the rear end (4) of this grenade, characterized in that, on the one hand, the central channel of the blocks (16) is equipped with an inner tube (13, 14) which can be destroyed in the thermodynamic conditions of the combustion of the blocks, the igniting composition consisting of two coatings (17) which adhere to the inner tubes (13, 14) and which are situated opposite each other and enclose between them an empty space in the middle of the grenade and in that, on the other hand, the outer casing (1) has an opening strength which is greater than 2 bars.
