PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE POLIMEROS VINIL-AROMATICOS MODIFICADOS PARA MEJORAR LA RESISTENCIA AL AGRIETAMIENTO POR ESFUERZO. CONSISTENTE EN SOMETER A POLIMERIZACION CONJUNTA UN MONOMERO VINIL-AROMATICO CON UN NITRILO ETILENICAMENTE INSTAURADO, DE MODO QUE LA PROPORCION DE ESTE ULTIMO EN EL POLIMERO OBTENIDO ESTE COMPRENDIDA ENTRE EL 6 Y EL 12 POR 100 EN PESO. LA POLIMERIZACION SE LLEVA A CABO BIEN EN SUSPENSION, EN MASA-SUSPENSION O EN CONTINUO, PUDIENDO APLICARSE TAMBIEN OTROS PROCEDIMIENTOS. SE PARTE PREFERENTEMENTE DE ACRILONITRILO COMO COMPONENTE NITRILO ETILENICAMENTE INSATURADO Y DE ESTIRENO, COMO MONOMERO VINIL-AROMATICO. PUEDEN OBTENERSE SEGUN EL PROCEDIMIENTO UN POLIMERO VINIL-AROMATICO. CON UNA RESISTENCIA AL AGRIETAMIENTO POR LA ACCION DEL FREON Y BAJO UNA CARGA DE 7K KG/CM2, SUPERIOR A 25 MINUTOS, Y UNA ADHESION AL POLIURETANO DE POR LO MENOS 1,3 KG/CM2.
