Abstract

The device comprises a plurality of detection circuits (11A, 11B, 11C), mounted in parallel for the control of the supply circuit of a general indicating member (10), and comprising each an orientation diode (29A, 29B, 29C) to avoid the looping thereof on another one, such an orientation diode is an electroluminescent diode so that it forms by itself an individual indicating member (29A, 29B, 29C) associated to said detection circuit. The device comprises means (14) to indicate a possible mounting error, means (47, 48, 51, 52, 53) for adjusting the intensity of the indicator (10) in relation to the condition of the lighting members (50) of the vehicle and an automatic test circuit (34).
