APARATO PARA SEPARAR UNA MEZCLA DE MATERIAELES LIGEROS Y PESADOS. COMPRENDEN UN TAMBOR DIVIDIDO EN DOS SECCIONES. EN LA PRIMERA SECCION SE INTRODUCE EL MATERIAL CON FLUIDO Y SE SEPARA DEL FLUIDO DE MODO QUE ESTE CORRE PRACTICAMENTE A TODO LO LARGO DE ESTA PRIMERA SECCION, SIGUIENDO UN RECORRIDO A CONTRACORRIENTE PARA LAVAR EL MATERIAL QUE SE TRATA DE SEPARAR ANTES DE REBOSAR EN ESTA SECCION. EL MATERIAL A SEPARAR SE DIVIDE EN DOS FRACCIONES, UNA FLOTANTE Y OTRA DE INMERSION REBOSANDO LA FRACCION DE FLOTACION DE LA PRIMERA SECCION, JUNTO CON EL FLUIDO.
