PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA RECUPERACION DE METALES VALIOSOS DEL RESIDUO RESULTANTE DE LA TOSTACION OXIDANTE DE PIRITA O DE LA MATA DE HIERRO, POLVOS Y GASES OBTENIDOS DE LA FUSION DE LA PIRITA. EN UNA PRIMERA ETAPA SE SOMETE A LA PIRITA A UNA TOSTACION OXIDANTE, TRAS LA CUAL SE SOMETE A UNA TOSTACION SULFURANTE PARA POSTERIORMENTE LIXIVAR LOS SULFATOS ANTES OBTENIDOS PARA RECUPERAR LOS METALES VALIOSOS. EN OTRA ETAPA LOS POLVOS QUE CONTIENEN METALES VALIOSOS SE SEPARAN DE LOS GASES PARA ALIMENTARLOS A LA SOLUCION SULFATANTE DE LA ETAPA ANTERIOR. LA LIXIVACION DE LOS SULFATOS, POR SU PARTE, SE REALIZA EN DOS ETAPAS: UNA PRIMERA, EMPLEANDO AGUA O ACIDO DILUIDO PARA DISOLVER LOS SULFATOS Y CON ELLO SEPARARLOS DEL MATERIAL SOLIDO, Y UNA SEGUNDA, CONSISTENTE EN UNA LIXIVACION DE CLORURO PARA DISOLVER EL PLOMO, PLATA Y/O ORO PARA SEPARARLOS DEL OXIDO DE HIERRO INSOLUBLE. EN ESTA ULTIMA ETAPA SE AÑADE CINC EN POLVO A LA SOLUCION OBTENIDA CON LA LIXIVIACION DE CLORUROCON EL FIN DE CEMENTAR EL ORO Y LA PLATA Y SEPARARLOS DE LA SOLUCION, TRAS LO CUAL SE ENVIA EL SH2 A LA SOLUCION PARA PRECIPITAR EL PLOMO Y EL CINC COMO SULFUROS, QUE POSTERIORMENTE SE TRATAN CON UNA SOLUCION DE SULFATO DE SODIO PARA REDUCIR EL PLOMO, PREVIAMENTE HABER EFECTUADO LA OXIDACION AL AIRE PARA DISOLVER EL CINC.
