PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCION DE ALCOHOLES BETA-ALFA-DIHIDRO-POLIPRENILICOS. CONSTA DE LAS SIGUIENTES ETAPAS: 1) REACCION DE UN COMPUESTO (I), SIENDO N DE 8 A 10 CON UN ESTER ALQULICO DEL ACIDO CIANACETICO EN PRESENCIA DE UNA BASE; SE OBTIENE EL COMPUESTO (II). 2) REACCION DEL COMPUESTO OBTENIDO CON UN AGENTE REDUCTOR PARA OBTENER EL COMPUESTO (III). 3) DESCARBOXILACION DEL COMPUESTO OBTENIDO EN PRESENCIA DE UN ALCALI FUERTE, OBTENIENDOSE EL (IV). 4) HIDROLISIS DEL COMPUESTO OBTENIDO EN PRESENCIA DE UN ALCALI FUERTE, OBTENIENDOSE (V). 5) REDUCCION DEL COMPUESTO OBTENIDO, OBTENIENDOSE (VI). *FORMULA* TRATAMIENTO DE HIPERTENSION Y ENFERMEDADES HEPATICAS.
