Abstract
1. A consolidating tool for compacting metal powder, comprising a mould (1) having an outer cone (16), upper and lower dies (5, 6) and lateral guides (10 to 13) and a press bed (4), wherein the mould (1) is divided into at least three segments and is supported relative to the press bed (5) by way of springs, hydraulic and/or pneumatic cylinders (2, 3), the mould (1) being held in an outer ring (9) provided with an inner cone (15), and means being provided for pressing out the mould (1) after each pressing operation.
