Abstract

The machine has a number of belt conveyor units supported on a transporter in such a manner as to remain horizontal as they travel on it first upwards, then horizontally, and finally downwards again. These units pass between the rollers of the feed conveyor and then between those of the discharge conveyor so as to transfer the slats etc between them. The slats are then delivered onto the plates of a drier truck etc also coupled to the machine.
