Abstract

Un método de producir un artículo a partir de material plástico en hoja, en el que el material en lámina se calienta y el material calentado se conforma en un artículo en un molde que comprende piezas del molde que se ponen en contacto para cortar la porción del material en lámina que ha de formar el artículo del resto del material en lámina, y la región periférica de la porción cortada es prensada entre las piezas del molde, haciendo que el material de plásticos de la misma fluya hacia afuera y entre en una cavidad de reborde en la que el material se transforma en un reborde engrosado.
