Abstract

Un procedimiento para preparar 2- pirrolidona, que comprende hidrogenar succinonitrilo disuelto en amoníaco líquido en presencia de un catalizador de hidrogenación y después hacer reaccionar con agua el producto hidrogenado resultante, en el que la solución de succinonitrilo y amoníaco líquido se hace pasar sobre un lecho fijo del catalizador a una temperatura entre 50º y 130ºC
