Abstract

Método para aplicar un revestimiento a un sustrato conductor de la electricidad, caracterizado porque una composición acuosa de revestimiento que se puede depositar por cataforesia, basada en: A) 100 partes en peso de un producto de reacción, al menos parcialmente neutralizado, de un compuesto que contiene grupos epoxi y una amina, y B) 5-50 partes en peso de un poliisocianato al menos parcialmente bloqueado, en la cual composición los constituyentes A y B pueden estar combinados químicamente, y en donde el compuesto epoxídico aminado es el producto de reacción de: 1) 40-90 partes en peso de un (co)polímero epoxidado, que tiene un índice de epóxido de 50-400; de un(ciclo)alcadieno que contiene 4-12 átomos de carbono, el cual (co)polímero tiene un peso molecular medio de 400-12.000; y 2) 60-10 partes en peso de un compuesto que tiene 1-30 átomos de carbono, y que tiene al menos un grupo amino primario o secundario, se pone en contacto con un ánodo y con el sustrato que actúe como cátodo, mientras se aplica una tensión de 1-800 V entre el ánodo y el cátodo, y el cátodo revestido se cuece subsiguientemente a una temperatura comprendida entre 90 y 320ºC.
