Abstract

Un procedimiento microbiológico para la preparación de un nuevo complejo antibiótico Bu-2313 y sus componentes bioactivos Bu-2313A y Bu-2313B de fórmula: **(Fórmula)** Donde R es H en el componente Bu-2313B y -CH3 en el componente Bu-2313A, o una sal no tóxica farmacéuticamente aceptable de los mismos, cuyo procedimiento se caracteriza porque consisten en: a) cultivar una cepa de Micropolyspora caesia con las características e identificación de ATCC 31295, 31296, 31297 o 31298, en condiciones aerobias sumergidas en un medio acuoso de cultivo que contiene fuentes asimilables de carbono y nitrógeno, hasta que dicho microorganismo ha producido en el medio de cultivo una cantidad sustancial de actividad antibiótica; b) recuperar la mezcla antibiótica, producida en la etapa (a), del medio de cultivo; c) separar los componentes bioactivos Bu-2313A y Bu-2313-B de la mezcla antibiótica mediante cromatografía.
