Abstract

Una instalación para almacenar y extraer por lectura informaciones, con un portador de registro en forma de tarjeta que tiene una pista de ritmo con marcaciones de ritmo ópticamente legibles así como, al menos, una pista de datos que contiene información codificada, y con un aparato lector para explorar en serie las marcaciones de ritmo y leer la información codificada, pudiendo determinarse el sentido de la lectura con un detector del sentido de lectura, caracterizada porque sobre la pista de ritmo del portador de registro están dispuestas en secuencia cíclica al menos tres clases diferentes de marcaciones de ritmo, porque el aparato lector tiene por lo menos tres preceptores ópticos de ritmo que responden cada uno a una de las diferentes clases de marcaciones de ritmo, los cuales están conectados al detector del sentido de lectura, y porque el sentido de paso de la secuencia de las señales de ritmo generadas por los preceptores de ritmo puede determinarse con el detector del sentido de lectura.
