Abstract
A calibration assembly for use in association with the transducers of a nuclear reactor tank inspection apparatus, characterized in that it includes a generally spherical body having a surface for reflecting an ultrasonic beam from one of said transducers, said body generally being arranged spherical in a fixed position, said transducer being displaced with respect to said generally spherical body until the beam reflection therefrom is the maximum amplitude return signal, indicating that said transducer is in alignment with said generally spherical body.
