Abstract
Un precipitador electrostático de polvo de tipo húmedo, en el que la corriente del medio que se va a limpiar se hace pasar por al menos un par de electrodos cargados, estando conectado uno de los polos de la alimentación de tensión a un electrodo y estando conectado el otro polo al otro electrodo, de modo que se crea un campo electrostático, caracterizado porque los electrodos están dispuestos en el espacio de circulación uno junto a otro y uno tras otro para producir varios campos electrostáticos uno junto a otro y uno tras otro, a través de los cuales se conduce la corriente del medio que se va a limpiar, en donde los electrodos conectados al primer polo de la fuente de tensión son principalmente de forma de placa para producir campos electrostáticos no homogéneos, mientras que la tensión utilizada se determina conforme a la cantidad que no puede producir ningún efecto de descarga en corona, pero los citados campos electrostáticos originan la separación de las cargas positivas y negativasde las partículas una de otra, con lo que las partículas se convertirán en dipolos eléctricos que comienzan a moverse hacia aquel electrodo cuya energía de campo electrostático es mayor, y porque los citados electrodos de forma de cuerda están provistos de corrientes de fluido que arrastran consigo las partículas que chocan contra los electrodos.
