Abstract
Fluid valve comprising a body having an incorporated outlet, a seat in the body, a valve member cooperating with the seat to control the flow of fuel through the outlet during use, and an electromagnetic device including a first movable magnetizable member in relation to the body and to which the valve member is operatively connected, a second magnetizable member fixed relative to the body, one of the magnetizable members having a plurality of slots disposed in side-by-side relationship, while the other the magnetizable member has a plurality of projections, each projection extending within its respective slot and being of less width than the respective slot, and an electrical winding disposed in at least some of the slots, the connection of the windings being such that two slots any in which the flow of the electric current of the windings contained two in the same place in the same direction, are separated by a slot that is devoid of winding or having a winding in which the flow of electric current takes place in the opposite direction, each projection being arranged in a non-centered manner in their respective groove when the windings are de-energized, the excitation of the windings serving to cause the first magnetizable member to move relative to the second magnetizable member thus separating the valve member from the seat.
