Abstract

Compuestos de fórmula (i): **fórmula** y sus ésteres donde X1 es un átomo de hidrógeno, un grupo alquilo de hasta 5 átomos de carbono, un grupo alquenilo de hasta 5átomos de carbono, un grupo hidroxialquilo de hasta 5 átomos de carbono o un grupo fenilo opcionalmente sustituido y X2 es un grupo fenilo opcionalmente sustituido estando descritos estos compuestos como agentes antibacterianos e inhibidores de la B-lactamasa, Puede prepararse ciertas aminas secundarias que son inhidores de la beta-lactamasa que aumentan la eficacia de las penicilinas o cefalosporinas y que también posee propiedades antibacterianas por si mismas.
