Abstract

Un método para desechar el gas residual radiactivo de una mezcla de gas-vapor de agua, que comprende: (a) enfriar dicha mezcla para condensar dicho vapor de agua; (b) hacer pasar el vapor de agua sin condensar y dicho gas radiactivo a una cámara donde dicha mezcla se enfría a una temperatura más baja; (c) hacer fluir vapores de agua condensados en dicho hervidor herméticamente cerrado para expulsar el gas radiactivo disuelto en dichos vapores de agua condensados y producir también vapores de agua adicionales que fluyen a contracorriente respecto a dichos vapores de agua condensados, retirando con ello gas radiactivo de dichos vapores de agua condensados; hacer pasar directamente dicho gas radiactivo y vapores de agua adicionalmente desde dicho hervidor herméticamente cerrado a dicha cámara sin que se recombinen con dicha mezcla; (d) filtrar gotitas de líquido del gas radiactivo y vapores de agua sin condensar que salen de dicha cámara; (e) enfriar el gas radiactivo filtrado; y (f) recuperarlos vapores de agua condensados y el gas radiactivo enfriado, en diferentes lugares.
