Abstract

A batch of bottles in a container is filled with acetylene from a common main simultaneously in several stages, as a function of the filling pressure and filling time. The degree of filling is checked by interrupting the filling process and weighing one of the batch of bottles. This saves much time and labour, compared with the individual filling of each bottle. All safety regulations are strictly met in this procedure.
