Abstract

The driven plate for a vehicular friction coupling comprises a hub part for connection to a shaft. A ring disc encompasses the hub, and a friction body is formed out of an outer peripheral part of the ring disc. The peripheral part of the ring disc is bedded in the friction body. The friction body (16) is outside a limit line defined by the outer circumference of the ring disc (13). The outer peripheral part (15) of the ring disc (13) embedded in the friction body (16) contains a number of apertures (26, 27). The total surface of the apertures is more than 50% of the surface of the bedded in outer peripheral part (15).
