Abstract

Steam generating method for use in a power plant and installation for its realization, whose method includes the steps consisting of: passing a vaporizable fluid under pressure through a steam generating section at a predetermined rate of fluid flow, applying heat to said fluid when it passes through said steam generating section, passing said fluid from said steam generating section through at least one tube of relatively small internal diameter to control the pressure of said fluid, increasing said flow rate fluid flow, passing a portion of said fluid through conduit means in a parallel relationship with said small bore tube, controlling the flow of said fluid in said steam generating section to a predetermined value; separating said fluid into a liquid and a vapor; and passing said steam from said separation means to an overheating section.
