Dynamoelectric machine that includes a stator element and a rotor element separated by an air gap, said rotor element having projecting poles and a ventilation system with a sealing device for isolating the air gap, said stator element including a stator core cylindrical provided with a central hole with teeth extending in the longitudinal direction of said hole to form the grooves of the stator windings, a multiplicity of longitudinally spaced ventilation ducts extending radially through the core, a multiplicity of longitudinal ducts in the region of said grooves extending between said ventilation ducts, said longitudinal ducts being located inside the core and being isolated from the air gap, and a device for producing the circulation of the ventilation air in the radial direction in said ventilation ducts and in the longitudinal direction in said longitudinal conduits from one ventilation duct to the next.
